The work examines the correlation between light intensity, color space and dynamics, as with extreme contrast shifts perceived in flickering light. Starting as a single frame, devoid of movement or action, the concept of each composition emerges from processing an image rather than building it. A series of discrete, redundant, layering steps results in a “loading” of each picture, giving it vibrancy and potential while otherwise remaining perfectly still. >back to work
